The Leopard

Two lovers on a park bench
A leopard standing in the street.
It was a deep down and falling day
That will not come again.

The leopard lying in the street
Wondering how lovers meet
Heard:
Lover, when you came to me
I let you in
Knowing you had a husband.

Two lovers on a park bench
The leopard staring at the sun
Saw snow burning.

Sometimes
The leopard in his dream
Saw these teo lying in his bed
Heard:
Touching your red red head
I curse the day you were wed.

Evening -
The leopard in his fire
Saw lips meet and apple breast
Heard:
Lover, I cannot bear the pain
Knowing we shall not meet again.

Two lovers on a park bench
The leopard crouching underneath.
It was a day gone and dying night.
The leopard sprang.
