Martin Corless-Smith was born in 1965 in Worcestershire, England. His fifth collection English Fragments/A Brief History of the Soul is forthcoming from Fence Books (USA) in 2010. Other works include Of Piscator (University of Georgia Press), Complete Travels (West House Books), Nota (Fence) and Swallows (Fence). He currently directs the MFA program in Creative writing at Boise State University, Idaho, USA.
